Mimi Vaughan, Project Associate
Mimi Vaughan received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto, Canada, and in 2023, graduated from Columbia University, earning a Master’s of Science in Historic Preservation. This advanced program equipped her with robust knowledge in building technologies, comprehensive documentation practices, and the preservation of historical materials.
Mimi's international experience includes an intensive studio course in Italy, where she explored speculative futures built on historic precedents. Her commitment to exploring new materials and design possibilities can be best described through her participation in the Material Designers Competition and Event Series in Barcelona, where she delved into reimagining traditional material processes and re-purposing material surpluses. An independent artist, Mimi co-created 'Construction Ahead,' a multi-sensory installation that critiqued Toronto's developmental evolution.
Mimi's professional experience encompasses the management of a variety of projects, from exterior facades, commercial and residential projects, from initial concept to project completion and close-out.
