Sarah Quinn, Project Associate
Sarah Quinn received her Bachelor’s of Architecture from Syracuse University in 2020. She practiced architectural design for public-focused projects in Utica, New York, before earning a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Tulane University in 2024. Her graduate study allowed her to engage in hands-on preservation documentation projects in New Orleans, Natchez, and Bridgetown, Barbados.
In addition to architectural documentation and design, Sarah has professional experience as an architectural researcher and writer. As part of her graduate thesis, Sarah used archival research and GIS tools to develop an interactive mapping website of over 100 significant sites of LGBTQ+ heritage in New Orleans (https://arcg.is/PqaOm). This research also resulted in draft National Register nominations for several of these sites. Sarah’s other skills include cemetery conservation and limewashing from her time in New Orleans. She is passionate about architectural history and documentation techniques.
Sarah is currently working towards getting her architecture license in New York.
